A Man For All People

They say Qaddafi has survived for so long by managing to balance the interests and appease the various tribes and peoples of Libya, and his attempts to reinvent himself are legendary. You can find him in traditional Berber garb, eurotrash fluorescent shirts, military uniforms, kaftans, anything with a fez and $500 sunglasses, etc.

But his latest look is definitely my favorite:


He's got the bedoin headwear and an Arabic wrap over the socialist workers shirt. Its a 3-fer!

And he's putting on quite the performance on Al Jazeera, considering he is clearly hidden in a bunker, surrounded by emergency flourescent lights.
